Experienced editor, journalist and writer Dylan Campbell is one of Australia's most respected motoring experts, having reported on the automotive industry since 2006.​

A former Network 10 presenter and Wheels magazine Editor, Dylan now contributes expert motoring content to Australia's leading publishers.

A highly experienced new-car reviewer, Dylan is one of the first in Australia to drive the latest new models, road-testing more than 100 new vehicles annually, from electric cars to family SUVs, supercars, luxury sedans to dual-cab utes.

A sitting Wheels Car of the Year judge, Dylan has also served as a Good Design Awards juror and is regularly interviewed on national radio and television.

​

With a keen interest in performance driving, Dylan has driven some of the world's fastest production vehicles at famed racetracks from the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany to Laguna Seca in the USA, as guest of leading car manufacturers including Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota.

Dylan cut his teeth as a staff reporter and writer on national magazines such as motorsport weekly Auto Action and best-selling monthly TopGear Australia, serving as Editor on multiple magazines before 'going freelance' in 2021.

Dylan lives with his partner Carli in Melbourne's inner north and enjoys weekends tinkering with his 1986 Toyota AE86 Sprinter GTV, looking after wire fox terrier Jimmy (loves humans, strongly dislikes other dogs) and planning the next weekend away.
